If anyone knows how exhausting it is staying consistently cute, it's me Avril Lavigne. It's so physically draining being amazing all the time! But reason #4,001,741 why it's so great being famous: you can just stop everything you're doing and take a nap... 'cause you're the effing boss. (BRB, making an immediate career change.)

The "Wish You Were Here" singer was snapped catnapping in a leopard-print sweatshirt while taking a break modeling new collections for her Abbey Dawn fashion line. She posted the pic to Twitter along with the caption:"Loungin' at my Abbey Dawn photo shoot in my new 'Knockout' hoody." Is it just us or does Avril look even more adorbz than usual curled up like a little punk rock leopard kitty?

We're happy Avril's balancing her hectic work schedule with proper doses of R&R. Everybody knows how much more difficult life can be when you miss your midday snooze. #firstworldproblems

We are so thankful for the Hood Internet. Not only do these dudes make art with real tacos (blasphemy or genius?), but we're way into their mashups. Like, WAY INTO. Our latest obsession: "Some Creeps," which finally brings together two artists who were basically born to collaborate with each other -- TLC and Michael McDonald, of course! Because nothing compliments '90s R&B girl groups the way Mikey McD's husky, soulful crooning does.

The Hood Internet brought back one of TLC's mainstays -- the 1994 jam about steppin' out on yo man, "Creep" -- and they mixed it with Holy Ghost's "Some Children," featuring none other than our favortie Doobie Bro, Michael McDonald. And here, where you would ask yourself "Um, why?" ask yourself "Why not?!" The result: a CrazySexyCool party jam that will please both '90s kids and the Doob fans in your social circle. (Get one of those friends if you don't have one already. Expand your horizons.)

WARNING: Kelly Rowland's new video "Keep It Between Us" includes some of the most romantic scenarios you could ever imagine. (DO NOT WATCH if you are recently post-breakup!) Intro scenes include a gorgeous montage of classic Paris moments -- swooning over the Eiffel Tower, sauntering down charming cobblestone streets, sipping café in a cafe, and Kelly, lovely as ever, cuddling up with a very good-looking dude in a fancy French hotel room. (Tough day job you got there, Kel.)

Even though the couple is in THE MOST ROMANTIC CITY IN THE WORLD, there seems to be a little trouble in paradise. Most of their time is spent in a lovey-dovey haze, capturing the pair going H.A.M. on some P.D.A. (it's Europe, guys, no one cares there), but occasionally viewers get a peek into an argument. Luckily  the couple's good times outweigh the bad, and they do like Disney taught us -- live happily ever after! Celebrate the moments of your life, guys.

Lesson learned: If a relationship is ever going sour, go to Paris together. Even if you break up, the pain au chocolats are TOTALLY worth it, oui?

There aren't many things I find quite as fulfilling on a Saturday afternoon than curling up on my couch in an adult onesie with a cup of full-fat hot chocolate and becoming intimately involved with a Lifetime original movie. (Haters to the left.) So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that not only is the original Lifetime movie "The Client List" becoming a regular series (based on a prostitution ring uncovered in Odessa, Texas, in 2004), but '90s movie and pop ICON Jennifer Love Hewitt, the star of the show, made a music video to help promote it. Best day ever?

Jennifer brings her milkshake (and lingerie) to the yard in a remake of the classic "Big Spender" (made popular by Shirley Bassey in the 1960s). In the video, Jennifer walks down the hall of the massage parlor where she makes her thousands of "happy ending" dollars. The hallway leads to a stage where Jennifer strips down in front of a group of men, Broadway revue style, as they shower her with the things that every girl wants -- cash money and unlimited access to black American Express cards. In the words of ATL rapper Lil Scrappy, "get dat paper."

"The Client List" music video might be a departure from Jennifer's past forays into the music world ("Barenaked," anyone?), but we ain't hating in the least -- JLH has a great sense of humor, and the girl can actually sing. And frankly, we wouldn't mind spending every Saturday Lifetime hangover recovery relaxing session with her. #catwoman4life

We love when our favorite singers hit us with something completely unexpected (um, Jo Calderone, anyone?), so we're definitely feeling the latest surprise pop trend: goin' country, y'all. First Miley Cyrus released an AH-MAZING folk/country version of Bob Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go." And now sweet-as-pie Kelly Clarkson's "Mr. Know It All" is gettin' some southern lovin'.

While Kelly's original version of "Mr. Know It All" embraced an empowering "I'm outta here, and I'm taking the expensive car with me" vibe, the newly released country version offers a softer, heartfelt approach to leaving a relationship. Twangy guitar riffs and a gentle fiddle bring the tune into quieter territory, while Kelly's vocals remain strong-willed. But being the super-talent that she is, Kel makes it seem like country music has always been her gig -- she is from Texas, guys.

Kelly recently covered fellow "American Idol" winner and pop-country crooner Carrie Underwood's "I Know You Won't" for "VH1 Unplugged," so perhaps that helped inspire a possible country career shift? Whatever's next, we're ready -- Kelly could make a polka album, and we'd still pump our fists.

You have to question respect Ruben Studdard's unique approach to naming his songs with specific dates and years like they're journal entries (see: "Sorry 2004"). Actually, it's a really good thing -- when that tough Trivial Pursuit ("American Idol" Edition) question pops up asking the day Studdard became available again, you'll be able to answer with the name of his new single and video, "June 28th (I'm Single)."

It's been nine years (that's 2003, fellow number lovers) since Ruben won "American Idol," and while he may have been lucky in his career, the soulful singer seems to be having a hard time in the everlasting love department. The video opens with Ruben decked out in a tuxedo reminiscing about the day he got married over what reminds us of The Temptations' "My Girl" beat. After his marriage fails, bro's not going to let his new solo status keep him down, proudly announcing that he's get back in the game: "Now it's official/Ladies, I'm single/So when you see me on the street, don't be scared to be speak/I'm gonna need another lady." We know the perfect (and also recently single) girl for him -- Katy Perry! (Too soon?)

"June 28th (I'm Single)" is from Ruben's forthcoming Letters From Birmingham album, dropping in March.

In their latest video "Shut The Front Door (Too Young)," Forever The Sickest Kids launch an all-out assault on the world of adult responsibility, and the 12 year old in all of us is screaming "HELL YES." The latest single from the Dallas pop-punk outlet reminds us that even though we adults might be wearing a suit and tie on the outside, it doesn't mean we're not decked in our wildest Garanimals on the inside.

"Shut The Front Door" opens with a young boy waking up groggy, heading to his 9-to-5. He rolls out of bed, shaves his prepubescent face and prepares to waste away inside his cubicle for the next eight hours. Lead singer Jonathan Cook narrates: "My boss got me swearing a lot/And making me pick up the weekend shift/I'm too young for this." All the daily adult nuisances are present -- ditching out on a diner bill, getting taken into custody for said felony, and narrowly escaping a jewelry heist. Okay, maybe not the usual adult nuisances, but being a grown-up can really feel like the worst day ever sometimes, can't it?

At the end of the video, a bunch of kids rage at a Forever The Sickest Kids show, where shots alternate between the child and adult versions of the same people, stressing the timeless adage that we never really grow up, we just grow old... Unless, of course, we go to punk shows! I'm pretty sure they're natural Botox.

Forever The Sickest Kids will be performing at the Soundwave Festival in Australia Feb. 25 through March 5 before they head to Austin for South By Southwest.

Basically, if you were to look up "perfect pop star" in the dictionary, Selena Gomez (in this photo specifically) would be front-and-center. From her stance to her obvious passion to those gams (DAMN, GIRL!), pretty much every girl we know has wanted to be the "Love You Like A Love Song" singer at some point. Oh, and she also makes out with Justin Bieber on a regular basis, so that might also have something to do with it.

Selena was snapped belting it out at her recent show in Mexico City, and we're so glad she went with the blue dress she was undecided about on Twitter recently. Not only does it have the requisite amount of sparkles that Selena seems to demand on stage, but hello, that blue is flattering on everybody like, scientifically. Photos like this aren't making it any easier for us to believe that Selena's about to play a "geeky teen" in the upcoming movie, "The Sky Is Everywhere" -- what do you know about that, Selena?!

Twitter's a magical place, y'all. Where else can you pretend you're friends with famous people AND stumble upon photos of them before they were stars? Like this glistening gem of young Beyoncé and Solange hanging out with En Vogue (!!!) -- while you were watching "Full House," these two were chumming it up with one of the biggest girl groups of the '90s.

Solange got all nostalgic on us and tweeted a photo of herself, Bey and daddy Knowles chilling with En Vogue. She also included the caption: "Check out my Pre-K swag. Ha!" While we're cherishing tiny Solange, we can't take our eyes off vintage Beyoncé (shout-out to the FILA garb and the side pony!). We can't even imagine a time when Bey wasn't dominating the charts, wind machines and heels, so it's kind of nice to see proof that she was once a human child.

We wonder if En Vogue gave the sisters any career advice... maybe something along the lines of "free your mind and the rest will follow"?
